with us. The price of actually 89.- EUR for 12 month has to be sent to our paypal account or via bank transfer.

If you register but do not send the required amount inside two weeks from the date of registering, your account is cancelled and no payment has to be made. Please note that the service becomes available only from the time on your payment arrives. To see when it has arrived, check your account on this website.

If you stop using our service before your account runs out does not entitle you to get payback for the month you didn't use.

websitethumbnail.de cannot be held responsible if some websites cannot be captured due to what reason ever. Nevertheless, we will take care of your problem and try to find out what is wrong with the capturing.

snapshot API

These parameters can be adjusted to fit the images your needs:

  • url - the url to be snapped
  • q - the quality level of the thumbnail ( 30-100% jpeg quality )
  • w - the width of the thumbnail ( up to 800 px )
  • h - the height of the thumbnail ( up to 600 px )
  • d - delay time, in seconds, useful for slow loading pages
  • timeout - the timeout in seconds, when to stop trying to snap the url
  • sdx = virtual screen size horizontally, the browser window size ( up to 1600 px )
  • sdy = virtual screen size vertically, the browser window size ( up to 1280 px )
  • forceUpdate - deletes the old snap and re-creates a new one
  • errImg = choose your own error image if a domain could not be snapped
  • autoUpdate = 0 / 1 - set if an automatic check for the image age should be performed
  • days = 7-60 - set the maxium age of the thumbnail ( used together with autoUpdate )

 

Headers

Websitethumbail responds always with an image, either the real snap or an image coming soon / 404 error image. Yet, in addition, it sends out header status informations which can be used to determine if the real image is returned or just a waiting image:

  • WT_Success_Status: ON / PENDING / Illegal Type - check this header to see if the snap was successful
  • ImageCreationDate - the date and time of the successful snap ( day:month:year, hour:minute ), allowing you to see whether there must be created a new snap
